Refuge and Strength

This small, pocket-sized book of prayers and short Bible readings is designed to be a companion to Christian men and women in the military, serving on bases in the U.S. and around the world and in harm's way on the battlefield. It is also intended for use by the families of military personnel, linking them through the strong bond of prayer with their loved ones across time and space.

Included are brief forms of morning and evening prayer; prayers for the realities of daily life in service; prayers for protection, for the nation, for those who have died, and for a safe return home.
