When Max (Anton Yelchin) learns that his new live-in girlfriend, Evelyn (Ashley Greene) is controlling and manipulative, he is afraid to end the relationship. However, fate intervenes when Evelyn is killed in a freak accident. A couple months have passed and Max has now met his dream girl, Olivia (Alexandra Daddario). But Max's latest romance becomes complicated when Evelyn comes back from the grave as a dirt-smeared zombie, determined to live happily ever after with Max...even if that means turning him into one of the undead.
