On the streets of New York, two lost souls meet under stresssful circumstances when a homeless but taleneted musician saves a woman's life after a suicide attempt. Tahir (Anthony Mackie), an immigrant from Nigeria, and Hannah (Jennifer Connelly), a heroin addict, form a deep friendship that grows into something a lot deeper over time.
