SEASON ONE: NY Ink follows Ami James as he puts it all on the line to become the Tattoo King of New York. After taking the industry by storm in Miami, this sharp-tongued, quick-tempered artist has now set his sights on dominating the birthplace of American tattoo style: New York City. Always looking for his next big challenge, Ami's new shop, Wooster Street Social Club, will be opening up right in the heart of SoHo. A new shop means hiring a whole new crew, and with that, a whole new set of problems. SEASON TWO: Ami and the rest of the Wooster Street Social Club crew are back, and on the tattoo map with business booming. People are lining up to get tattoos from New York's finest artists, but with more money come more problems. Ami is spread thin with the huge demands at the shop and he is seeing his family less and less. The rivalry also continues between Ami and banished tattoo artist Chris Torres, but will they be able to bury the hatchet to benefit both of their careers?
