20-Years-ago, evil escaped incarceration in the form of Michael Myers, leading to as bloody killing spree in the town of Haddonfield on Halloween. Now the headmistress of a private school, final-girl Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) cannot shake the horrifying memories. Suddenly, Michael returns to terrorise a new generation of Haddonfield residents, including Laurie's rebellious son (Josh Hartnett), his girlfriend (Michelle Williams) and Ronny, their school's security guard (LL Cool J). They are all about to become Halloween's latest victims, unless Laurie can conquer her greatest fears and put evil in its place once and for all.
