The Mummy Trilogy follows adventurer Rick O'Connell, librarian Evelyn Carnahan, and her brother Jonathan as they battle resurrected ancient Egyptian evils, starting with the priest Imhotep in The Mummy (1999) and continuing in The Mummy Returns (2001) where they face Imhotep and the Scorpion King's curse, before shifting to China in The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008) to stop the resurrected Emperor Qin with their son Alex.
