Cobi: World War 2 - Matilda II & Panzer 38 (T) Diorama Construction Brick Set (1008 Pieces)
COBI have symbolically combined two models of famous tanks in the scene of the Battle of Arras fought on May 21, 1940, during the French campaign. The Panzer 38(t) tank was developed in 1:35 scale based on a museum exhibit that can be admired at the Deutsches Panzermuseum Munster. The Matilda II, on the other hand, is a famous British infantry tank has been carefully designed in 1:35 scale and its appearance directly refer to the museum piece, which is located at The Tank Museum (UK). Tanks and elements of the diorama in the form of fragments of buildings, lampposts and two signposts pointing to Arras and Dunkirk recreate historical events. The models have working tracks, and the tank turrets are movable and can be rotated.
Dimensions of MATILDA II: (L x W x H): 175mm (6.89 inch) x 80mm (3.15 inch) x 73mm (2.87 inch). Ruins model dimensions: (L x W x H): 215mm (8.46 inch) x 95mm (3.74 inch) x 117mm (4.60 inch). Dimensions of the PANZER 38(t): (L x W x H): 145 (5.70 inch) x 65mm (2.56 inch) x 75mm (2.95 inch)
The instruction manual provided, uses a system of simple icons and pictograms, which will easily guide you through the construction process. The bricks do not require gluing or painting. All graphics and inscriptions are printed in the form of very durable prints that do not smear, scratch or fade under the influence of sun, water or even very intense fun. No stickers were used in the model. The set is suitable for persons over 8 years of age.
