Will is an extraordinary successful wildlife photographer; rich, famous and revered. So why does he try to commit suicide at the teeth and claws of a polar bear?

A dark secret haunts his past, and he must return to his native Yorkshire, to his dying father, and the scene of a shattering supernatural incident which he has repressed with all his might. Unless he does so, all life on our world is threatened.
